The GoPro Hero cam is so much fun to use. I have used it during all my outdoor activities. Fishing, Kayaking, wakeboarding, and will soon use it this winter. After taking a quick scan through the directions it comes with. It is so easy to use. It might take you a couple tries to get the angles right but once you get the hang of it you're off filming anything you want in no time. The waterproof housing it comes with is so durable and air tight you won't be afraid to go big with it.

I use the go pro hero mounted to my ski helmet, and to my bike helmet, and I'm trying out the handlebar mount. HD video, fisheye range of view, simple to use. When I first used it I didn't know about the beeps. With any other camera, turn it on and something tells you it's working and recording. With the gopro the light on the front does that but when it's already mounted to your head it's hard to tell, except for the handy beeps it gives. Starting recording is smartly not a light tap, you have to hold the button. Prevents unwanted on-off. What a gadget. Get one. Get two
